About Us

Chesak Elementary School is located at 10910 Reed Road, Lake in the Hills, Illinois, and serves approximately 670 students in kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. In addition, the building is shared with the D158 Early Childhood Center, which occupies a separate, secure wing.

Named for a longtime educator, Chesak is one of eight schools comprising Huntley Community School District 158, which serves some 8,400 students in the villages of Huntley, Algonquin, Lake in the Hills, and surrounding areas.

The Huntley Park District provides on site before and after school child care services. A hot lunch program is offered, for which parents can manage their accounts with online account viewing and payment.
